WELCOME ADDRESS
Respected Chief Guest, Special Guest, dignitaries on the dais, dear parents, teachers, and my beloved students – a very good evening to one and all.
On behalf of the Management, Staff, and Students of Sri Durga Matriculation School, I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you all to the 43rd Annual Day Celebration held on 14th February 2026 in our school campus.
We are deeply honoured by the gracious presence of our Chief Guest, Thiru. Karmegam Avl, District Educational Officer (Private Schools), Madurai, and our Special Guest, Thiru. R. G. Senthil Kumar, Managing Director, Neidhal Corporate Solutions, Corporate Lawyer and Organic Farmer.
We are blessed by the divine presence of Sivayogi Thavathiru Murugesa Siddha Doctor, Sivayogini Anandhi Amma, Sivayogini Lakshmi Amma, and Raja Swamigal, Samayanallur, whose blessings inspire our students.
I respectfully welcome our Managing Trustee, Dr. M. K. Mariselvam, our Founder & Treasurer, Mrs. Nagalakshmi M, and our Administrative Officer, Correspondent & Secretary, Mr. Nirmal Anandh M, whose guidance and dedicated service have been instrumental in the steady growth of our institution.
At Sri Durga Matriculation School, we believe that education is not confined to textbooks alone. Along with Smart Class digital learning, we emphasize Hindi language training, handwriting improvement, and communication skills. For physical and mental well-being, students are trained in Yoga, Silambam, and Karate. Cultural refinement is nurtured through Bharathanatyam and other fine arts.
To instil strong moral and spiritual values, our students practice reciting mantras before eating food and attend Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavatham classes, guiding them towards discipline, humility, and righteous living.
Today’s programme showcases the talents, discipline, and creativity of our students, nurtured through the dedicated efforts of our teachers and staff.
