Students' Golu 2026

STUDENTS’ GOLU 2026 – A BEAUTIFUL CELEBRATION OF OUR TRADITIONS

With immense joy and gratitude, we are delighted to share the success of STUDENTS’ GOLU 2026, conducted on 17th October 2026 (Saturday) at Sri Durga Matriculation School, with the enthusiastic participation of students from LKG to VIII Standard.

For the very first time in our school’s history, we celebrated Golu through the combined efforts of our teachers and students. Though it was organised within a short span of time, their dedication, teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm made this event truly memorable.

Golu is not merely a display of dolls; it is a beautiful reflection of our rich Indian culture, age-old traditions, devotion, creativity, and the values passed down through generations. We believe this celebration provided a wonderful opportunity for our students and parents to reconnect with our traditional heritage and reflect on the cultural practices followed by our ancestors.

The divine atmosphere and spiritual energy felt throughout our school campus on that special day made the celebration even more meaningful. The joy, devotion, and enthusiasm shared by everyone transformed our campus into a place filled with positive energy and cultural pride.

Our Heartfelt Thanks and Appreciation

We extend our sincere gratitude to:

All our Teachers – for their dedication, planning, guidance, and tireless efforts in organising this celebration within a short period.

All our Students – for their active participation, wonderful creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm in making their respective classroom Golu arrangements beautiful and special.

All our Parents – for attending the event, encouraging our children and teachers, and extending their valuable support and cooperation.

We wholeheartedly thank everyone who contributed to making our first-ever Students’ Golu celebration a grand success.

May this beautiful beginning become a cherished tradition at Sri Durga Matriculation School, helping our children understand, appreciate, and preserve the rich cultural heritage of India for generations to come.

Together, let us educate our children not only through books but also through our culture, traditions, values, and experiences.

Traditions connect generations. Culture shapes character. Togetherness creates beautiful memories.

With sincere gratitude and best wishes,
